I thought I would make some treats for my son to take to his school tomorrow for Halloween, so thought I would burst the YouTube bubble and try to do a tutorial on how I made them.
I was a little nervous doing this, but I am sure as I do more I will get better with each one I do.. ☺
A big thanks to my husband for helping with the editing. (I will promise to get it in one take next time heheh)

I hope you like my tutorial.. ☺

Craft Room Make Over!!

Update..

So many things have been keeping me busy of late and I have been so slack with blog posts.  I thought I would share one of the things that have been keeping me busy of late.. We decided to make an official Craft Room/ Project Studio at our place, which has been a long process but it is nearly there..

I am at the decoration stage of the room and wanted to share a few things that I have been able to do this week..

I have been recycling pasta sauce jars into craft storage jars. I will be doing a fair few of these for my wall unit which I will share once I have finished..

Yesterday I also made a start on making some storage for my twine stash. Using the same design as the button ones, as it will be going on the same wall unit. With these jars I hammered a hole into the lid for easy access to the twine. Really wanting everything to match in the new craft room as I am hoping it will help me keep organised heheh If you are on Instagram make sure you come follow me as I will be sharing a lot more photos of my handmade craft love. User name is @daneve_ahtissue

Today I was able to put this up in my craft room/studio not sure if I am finished but think it looks great.. :) this photo doesn't really capture the true colours but think you can see what colour theme I have gone with in the room.

I will be sharing how I did this in another post.. What do you think?

Kind Regards

Easter 2012

As Easter is just around the corner I wanted to share with you what we did here last year for Easter.

Made the garland out of fabric scraps.
Center printable from Eighteen25

Founds these buckets for the kids at a dollar/cheap store, made the ribbon wands and the
Main printable I used was from Anders & Ruff..

I created the center piece using fresh eggs, carrots and 2 type of glass ware..

To make these cute bunny ears I used the template from here:

Carrot biscuit is just a basic sugar biscuit with colouring and I just treated these like I was playing with play dough. Had a cookie cutter in the shape. I used the cookie recipe from Bubble & Sweet..

Used some of Ah-Tissue test tubes to hand fake flowers around the place..

 Pom Pom Sticks by Ah-Tissue

Tissue Paper pom poms by Ah-Tissue

 Flowers by Ah-Tissue

My boy had such a fun day with his friends..

I hope I have given you some inspiration to do something this year at your place for Easter..

Little Man Baby Shower

Sorry I have been a little slack with this blog, I have had alot going on with Ah-Tissue, but will try to get back to doing regular posts.

Now this was the baby shower I helped out with a little while back and since then my beautiful friends Mel & Blake welcomed their gorgeous baby boy into this world.

As they new they were going to have a little boy so I thought it would be fitting to have a "Little Man" themed baby shower.

So this is why my husband did up this D.I.Y printable set for it and we based the colours around what Mum to be had in mind which was the colours from some little outfits she had.

This range can be purchased here: Little Man Printable Set

Here are a few Images from the day.

Made use of a wall shelf

Made some little bow ties out of felt and wool for the guest to pin on.

Made these hanging bow ties out of tissue paper and crepe paper.

From the left over cupcake circle I scatted them on the tables

Instead of games as requested we had little stations. 1st station we had a pile of Nappies and markers for the guest to leave a funny message for the parents to be.

Of course there would have to be some Ah-Tissue poms.

2nd Station we had wish tags for the guest to write little wishes for the baby or parents to be.

I made some homemade yummy chocolate mustaches for a little thank you gift for the guests

Added little Mustache to some straw using a some hot glue.

These are the little outfits that the colour scheme was based around.

Covered lolly pop with matching fabric and used a piece of foam covered with tissue paper to stick the pops into.

The 3rd Station was a little photo booth.

Little hand held Chalkboards " Speech and Thought" can be found here.

Guest took home a little goodie bags filled with treats.

It was a very fun day for Mel and a great memory for her..

Here is Corbin (Corby) and his very proud parents.
